Bandit
Bandit with his best friend, Tody the Beagle
Town: Perth, Western Australia
Deaf dog: Bandit, a 2 year old blue heeler, was initially rescued from a local pound to be recruited for Australian Quarantine Services as an active dog. Due to his deafness he was not accepted into the program. "I fell in love with him and decided to train him myself. He is a very clever and quick learning dog. He is now being trained to be a Truffle Detector Dog, so that will be his new venture in life starting in winter."
