Camera Shy
Denver
Town: Visalia, California
Deaf dog: I got Denver (an Australian Sheppard) from my local SPCA shelter. I already had an Aussie and was wanting another who needed a good home. I moment I laid eyes on Denver I knew he was special. And when I found out he was deaf I knew I was going to take him home. I have never had a specal needs dog but felt I could give a good home with love.
Human companion: Kimberly Carson
Other pets: I have two other dogs. An Aussie blue mural, and a Queensland. Plus four cats, and a bird.

Lucille
Town: Farmersville, California
Deaf dog: Lucille(Lucy) came from the local shelter. She is a Queensland Heeler. She was brought in because of her deafness. Her owners couldn't sell her to the pet store because of it. She was there 5 min. and I took her home(job perk). I am so happy to have her. My family just loves her to death. I think she is better than a hearing dog. She doesn't spook easily and even though she doesn't hear she doesn't startle when you come up from behind or wake her up. All in all she a great little girl.
